Hello island lovers! Welcome to Greece, and welcome to the best holiday of your life. It’s a big call to make on day 1, but we’re making it! Take a minute to unpack in settle in to our hotel before we meet up this evening. First your Trip Manager will give you the rundown of what to expect over the next 10 days, then you’ll have free time to explore the local area and find yourself some dinner.

With no time to waste, we’ll start our island hopping adventures today with our first destination: Mykonos.

Let’s do this! Two nights on the island of Mykonos, how did we get so lucky? Even the boat ride across the Aegean will have you awe struck and in love. Tonight, you’ll have the option to join an exploration of Mykonos by night on a locally guided walking tour of the town’s cobbled streets.

Head into town for a walking tour & let your Local Guide take you through the narrow alleyways, small side streets & intricate paths that Mykonos is famous for a true maze by the sea! We will end up at the famous windmills & Little Venice. There’s heaps of free time so head towards the action & hit the clubs. You can make your way back home with the included return transfer or stay out until the early hours.

Windmills; cafes overflowing with olives, feta and tzatziki; storybook streets – and that’s before you’ve even taken a dip in the ocean! The day is yours to soak up the sunshine and play in the sea.

Day 4: Mykonos to Paros

This morning we’re on to our next Greek island, Paros. Let’s spare a thought for all those travellers who only get to visit just one Greek Island, and then remember how lucky we are.
ParosBeaches, naturally sculpted swimming coves, a Byzantine church and traditional villages: we must be in Paros. You’re free to get into the sun and sea vibes. Those who feel like exploring can sign up for an optional trip to an Organic Farm run where you’ll sample their delicious produce and then head to one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades – Naoussa.

Paros Organic Farm Tour and Naoussa Visit (MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience)Visit a small family-run sustainable farm, while enjoying the company of your new Contiki family. Learn about the production of Mediterranean crops like olives, grapes, oregano, figs, lavender and other herbs and see how the whole cycle of production takes place there, always using organic methods of cultivation. Take a small taste of these homemade goodies and wish that after your visit you will still be able to consume normal food. Following your farmer initiation, head to the picturesque Naoussa. Make good use of your free time there and explore this small fishing village. Naoussa is considered to be one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades, with the traditional character and the stone paved, narrow streets this village will steal your heart!
After your orientation in Naoussa transfer back to your Hotel and enjoy the rest of your night in Parikia.

Day 5: Paros

Another day, another Greek Island delight. Hold tight – today we’re off for a Paros sailing adventure. Crystal clear Aegean waters, here we come.

Paros Sailing Adventure Take a full day boat cruise around Paros and Antiparos. This great boat tour will take you to many of the islands secluded and pristine beaches. Take the opportunity to swim, sun bake, or just relax on deck. A barbeque lunch with wine and soft drinks is included. Enjoy this amazing day on the boat and have fun in the sun.

Day 6: Paros to Santorini
ParosParos, it’s been magical – but today we’re taking to the seas again, this time in search of Greece’s most insta-famous island: Santorini.SantoriniSantorini, we have arrived! Tonight you’ll have the chance to explore this magical Island and roam the cobbled streets.

Day 7: Santorini

Rise and shine, Greek Island travellers! The island of Santorini won’t explore itself. Today is your day to take a swim at Perissa Beach, eat the local specialty of fried tomato balls known as domatokeftedes, or roam and explore. You can even opt to take an incredible volcano cruise around Santorini, starting with a visit to Oia and complete with crater hike and a soak in local hot springs.

Oia Visit Plus FiraWe’ll start our day with a visit to Oia, a postcard perfect village known for its whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and breathtaking sea views. Take your time to wander around those narrow streets… checking out the quaint boutiques, taking plentiful Insta snaps and even popping into one of the top ten bookshops in the world, the Atlantis.After Oia, you’ll have some time to explore the small Cycladic town of Fira at your own pace. Don’t miss the cobblestoned streets, plus those extraordinary views of the caldera.

Oia Visit Plus Winery TourWe’ll start our day with a visit to Oia, a postcard perfect village known for its whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and breathtaking sea views. Take your time to wander around those narrow streets… checking out the quaint boutiques, taking plentiful Insta snaps and even popping into one of the top ten bookshops in the world, the Atlantis.Afterwards, we’ll make our way to Pyrgos, one of the island’s most traditional villages – home to some of the greatest Cycladic architecture, plus mesmerising views of the whole island.At the caldera, we’ll make a stop at a local winery. Sampling fine wines while gazing out at breathtaking views of a nearby volcano – what more could you want?

Oia Visit Plus Volcano CruiseWe’ll start our day with a visit to Oia, a postcard perfect village known for its whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and breathtaking sea views. Take your time to wander around those narrow streets… checking out the quaint boutiques, taking plentiful Insta snaps and even popping into one of the top ten bookshops in the world, the Atlantis.Afterwards, we’ll make our way to some volcanic islands. Our first stop will be the newest volcanic island on the Eastern Med, where we’ll trek to the top and take in the amazing views. Next, we’re off to an older volcanic island where we’ll swim in the sulphur springs (AKA mud bath. AKA nature’s spa.) After that, you’re free to wander around the fine streets of Fira – stopping off for lunch or a drink if you like.

Day 8: Santorini to Ios
Santorini
A bit more rugged and remote than Santorini and Mykonos, Ios will prove a nice change of scenery for our final Island night. And thankfully, there will be no change in the good vibes or the time spent ocean side.
IosWe’ll join together for an included dinner tonight, with another free evening on the cards afterwards.

Day 9: Ios
IosOur final Island day, and your last chance to soak up the Greek sun and frolic in the sand without a care in the world. Now is your chance to get some adrenaline in with a speedboat safari, or take a leisurely stroll around the pretty village of Ios Chora and enjoy some stuffed zucchini flowers or baked feta drizzled with olive oil at a local cafe. It’s a free evening tonight, so you’re going to need the fuel if you want to hit the party scene of Hora until the break of dawn.

Speedboat SafariLet’s hop on a speed boat & wander around the beautiful coastline of Ios, while relaxing, soaking in the sun & listening to great tunes. We will explore unique underwater caves, go snorkelling on a reef, explore a shipwreck, & stop at a secluded beach for some fun beach games.

Day 10: Ios to Athens

While choking back the tears and waving a sad goodbye to the dreamy islands of Greece, try to think positive thoughts: we have a boat ride to enjoy this morning, as well as one more night together in the city of Athens.
AthensReady for one more dose of Athens and one last chance to hang out together? We’ll soak up the last rays of the Mediterranean sun this afternoon before an optional farewell dinner together.
